During the Coronavirus pandemic, the Growing Healthy North Yorkshire 0-19 team would like to ensure that all of our service users continue to receive the Healthy Child Programme, while ensuring we pay our part to reduce the risk of spread of the coronavirus within our communities and protect the most vulnerable in society.
We will continue to support you, but at present this will not usually be done via a visit to your home – we may need to provide an alternative virtual method of contact, which could include: telephone, Facetime and social media platforms.
All the group sessions and activities your 0-19 team provide will be suspended until further notice. This will include School Nurse Drop-ins, Baby Clinics, Breastfeeding Cafes/Groups and Antenatal and Healthy Weight Groups, and routine school age screening including vision, audiology and National Child Measurement Programme.
