I trained in paediatrics at Sheffield Children’s Hospital and subsequently the Yorkshire School of Paediatrics in hospitals all over West Yorkshire. I took up my post as Consultant Paediatrician in Harrogate in 2008. I am currently the Clinical Lead for Paediatrics.
I have developed a special interest in paediatric epilepsy and have completed the British Paediatric Neurology Association Paediatric Epilepsy Training (PET). I have developed close links with the paediatric neurologists at Leeds General Infirmary and was invited to run their acquired brain injury clinic for 2014.
I carry out general paediatric clinics in Harrogate and Ripon. I also carry out community paediatric/neurodisability clinics within the Child Development Centre.
In my spare time I have a keen interest in music.
