‘Letters to Loved Ones’ service launched

Posted on: Thursday 9 Apr 2020

We’ve launched our new ‘Letters to Loved Ones’ service for inpatients and their families at Harrogate District Hospital.

Relatives and friends of patients currently in hospital can now send letters and photographs to [email protected], and these will be delivered to patients. Alternatively, if you are unable to email, please call us Monday-Friday 9.30am-4.30pm on 01423 557985 and we can take down a message.

It’s a really simple process: please send your letter to our dedicated email address, including the patient’s full name, date of birth and the ward they are on. We will do the rest.

We hope this will raise spirits whilst visiting is reduced, and help people stay connected to their loved ones at this time.

All messages will be treated in the strictest confidence and will be laminated for infection control reasons. Deliveries will take place Monday-Friday and will be entirely free.

However, if you would like to make a small donation to our Harrogate Hospital and Community Charity that would be very gratefully received: hhcc.co.uk/donate/
