People in Scarborough, Ryedale and Whitby who are interested in a healthcare career are being invited to an open event for a brand new podiatry apprenticeship degree.

From September 2019, Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust, in partnership with the University of Huddersfield, will be offering the degree to people, including those who are leaving further education and entering higher education this year – and the team is looking for people who are; caring, motivated, and compassionate, a team player and keen to help others.

The degree will provide students with an opportunity to work as a Podiatry Assistant across the areas and be funded to attend the degree programme at the University of Huddersfield.
