Stephen has been successful in working across a range of community settings within healthcare and has progressed through physiotherapy to his current role of Outpatients Matron. This enables him to work with wider multi-disciplinary teams to improve the delivery of patient-centred care.
Whilst working hard to ensure the best outcomes for patients, Stephen also has the wellbeing of the Trust’s staff at the forefront of his work. When many shy away from change, Stephen is an advocate of service delivery improvements with a focus on staff health, wellbeing and resilience. Even in his own work, he strives to continuously improve his knowledge and undertakes further learning to improve his wide variety of skills.
As a staff governor, Stephen is relishing the opportunities that arise to work closely with the Board to deliver its strategy and the provision of high quality services.
