Rachel enjoyed a varied management career in the health sector for many years including at local, regional, national and international levels of the NHS, Department of Health and wider government.
With a professional background as a chartered engineer and health experience spanning operational, leadership, strategy, policy and assurance roles, she is able to use her understanding of the health service to represent her local community on the Council of Governors and support the Trust in its delivery of services to her local area.
Rachel is a strong advocate for the opportunities within an integrated health and care system to improve health and wellbeing and reduce inequalities, building on strong engagement with communities and making best use of overall public resources.
