I studied at the University of Leeds and became a General Practitioner partner and trainer in Knaresborough after training in Bradford and Leeds. I developed an interest in dermatology and worked in both general practice and dermatology for 10 years.
After I was involved in several national guideline/research projects in skin cancer, acne, and alopecia, my interest in dermatology grew, and so I resigned from general practice and became a full-time Dermatologist in January 2015.
I’m interested in acne, skin cancer, and education of health professionals in dermatology. I also work as a visiting lecturer at the University of Herfordshire.
Outside work, my hobbies include running – everything from park runs to marathons – in Harrogate and the Lake District.
