Dr Rachael Robinson graduated from the University of Leeds before qualifying as a GP Partner and Trainer in Knaresborough. During her clinical work, she developed a strong interest in dermatology and contributed to several national initiatives, including the NICE Melanoma Guideline (NG14).
She achieved specialist registration as a Consultant in 2018 and, alongside providing general dermatology clinics for a wide range of conditions, has developed dermoscopy training courses aimed at improving the early detection of skin cancer, as well as educational programmes for community dermatology practitioners.
Dr Robinson also serves as an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of York and acts as a national lead for the accreditation of GPs working in dermatology.
Outside of her professional roles, she enjoys running, from weekly parkruns to longer trail events.
