I completed my medical training in Siena, Italy at the end of 1999. From 2001 to 2003 I was involved in postdoctoral research in neurometabolic diseases at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, after which I started my neurology training in Siena. I achieved the Certificate of Completion of Training in Neurology in 2007. Since 2008 I have been working within an excellent team at Harrogate & District NHS Foundation Trust as a Consultant Neurologist.
Away from work I enjoy climbing and travelling.
