I completed my medical training in Siena, Italy at the end of 1999. From 2001 to 2003, I was involved in postdoctoral research in Neurometabolic diseases at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, after which I started my neurology training in Siena.
I achieved the Certificate of Completion of Training in Neurology in 2007. Since 2008, I have been working within an excellent team at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust as a Consultant Neurologist. I have been for most of the years the Neurology Department Lead and from 2012 to 2025, the Parkinson’s Service Lead.
Away from work, I enjoy passing time with my Italian Community called ‘’La Buona Notizia’’. I play volleyball with the Harrogate Goat women team at the lower and higher level, plus I attend gym/group dance classes and, when possible, I like travelling.
