Clare McNaught is a Consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon with an interest in colorectal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease. She graduated with Honours from Aberdeen University in 1996 and did her post-graduate training in Yorkshire. Clare remains active in research and education activities and is a Member of Council of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. In 2015, Clare founded the Younger Fellows Committee, responsible for supporting young consultants in their career development. She is also the current editor of Surgeons News, a professional interest magazine which is delivered to over 25,000 surgeons throughout the world.
