I qualified from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in London in 1989 and undertook surgical training in London, Oxford and Leeds. Following further specialist training in Italy, I was appointed as a Consultant Urologist and Clinical Director at Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust in 2006. I commenced work at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust in 2017. My specialist areas are andrology and female urology.
As an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer with the University of Sheffield, I am heavily involved in education. I am also the Chairman of the Harrogate Division of the BMA.
I enjoy gardening, skiing and outdoor pursuits.
