I graduated in Gdansk, Poland, in 1994. I completed my general (integral) medicine training in April 2002. Between 2001 and 2005 I worked in the Gdansk Cardiology Department.
I moved to the UK with my family in 2005 and was appointed as a senior staff practitioner in the Cardiology Department at Harrogate District Hospital. Since November 2010 I have been working as a Consultant. My special area of interest is cardiomyopathy and valvular heart disease.
I am currently the Clinical Lead in Non-Invasive Cardiac Imaging (cardiac ultrasound and myocardial perfusion scintigraphy) and the Heart Failure Service, both within Harrogate District Hospital and the community.
I enjoy active holidays such as skiing and water sports activities, including sailing, windsurfing, and water-skiing.
