We are a dedicated team, including stroke nurses who provide acute assessment of patients with stroke symptoms in the Emergency Department, 24 hours a day. This service enables us to provide thrombolysis, if appropriate, for certain types of stroke.
We have nurses who deliver inpatient chemotherapy to patients with haematological cancers. We also take calls out of hours to our oncology helpline, triage patients based on their symptoms, and give advice to patients undergoing chemotherapy. In addition to our highly trained and caring nurses, we have a dedicated team of doctors and work closely with other members of our multi-disciplinary team to provide high standards of patient care.
We want to make you feel as comfortable as possible when you visit our wards, and all our staff aim to adhere to our values of Passionate, Respectful, and Responsible. Find out more information about our vision and values.
