Harrogate Hospital and Community Charity have launched the Helping Hearts campaign to provide support to families and patients at this difficult time.
All patients will be asked if they wish to sign up on admission into hospital. They will then be gifted a Helping Heart, lovingly made by the community, while their family will receive another to make up the pair. We hope this will help families feel comforted and connected while visiting at the hospital is reduced.
Donated Hearts will be received through the Harrogate Hospital and Community Charity (HHCC) office and will be quarantined for seven days before being used. These will then be delivered to the patient and their family.
