New Executive Director appointed at Harrogate & District NHS Foundation Trust

The Executive Team at Harrogate & District NHS Foundation Trust (HDFT) have appointed Emma Nunez as the new Executive Director of Nursing, Midwifery & AHPs.

Emma, a midwife who has previously worked for NHS England as Clinical Quality Director and Director of Nursing linked with the North East, will now take up the permeant post after being on secondment to teamHDFT since April.

Chief Executive Officer Steve Russel said,” I am delighted to confirm that we have appointed Emma Nunez as Executive Director of Nursing, Midwifery & AHPs.

“Emma will play a hugely important leadership role to inspire, lead and develop the nursing, care support worker, midwifery and AHP teams to deliver consistently high standards of personalised care in every setting in which we work.”

Speaking on her appointment Emma said,” In my 4 months at the Trust I have met the most inspirational and motivated individuals and teams across hospital, community, 0-19 services and HIF who strive to deliver outstanding care to our patients and their families every time.

“It has been my absolute pleasure working alongside colleagues in supporting the achievement of that common goal and I am very excited to be able to continue to build on the fabulous foundations and efforts I have seen demonstrated in the unrelenting quest of delivering high quality, personalised care.”
