A Long Service Tea Party to celebrate Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust’s long-serving members of staff took place on Monday 16 July.

Staff were awarded for their outstanding service to the NHS in three separate categories; 25, 35 and 40 years and awards were presented by the Trust’s Chief Executive Dr Ros Tolcher and Chairman Angela Schofield. There was also special recognition for those who have recently retired from the Trust.

The tea party once again took on a vintage theme, with traditional afternoon tea served to guests in Herriot’s Restaurant, Harrogate District Hospital.

Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust Chairman Angela Schofield said: “Congratulations to all of our long-serving staff who are celebrating their huge milestones.

“The Trust and the NHS as a whole could not survive without its wonderful staff and the awards for long-serving staff give them the opportunity to reflect on their many years of fantastic service.”
