Medical Day Unit

The Medical Day Unit is a small, nurse-led unit, providing treatment for day patients from the Gastro, Endocrine, Haematology, Urology, Rheumatology, and Dermatology departments.

Due to the impact of planning for Coronavirus, visiting times have changed. Click here for the latest news.

The treatments we provide include blood transfusions, injections, and medical investigations.

We are open to visitors throughout our opening hours but would recommend that babies and small children are not brought onto the Unit to avoid the risk of infection.

We want to make you feel as comfortable as possible when you visit our wards, and all our staff aim to adhere to our values of Passionate, Respectful, and Responsible. Find out more information about our vision and values.
