Administrative roles

We employ staff in a range of administrative roles to support our services. Receptionists improve the experience of our patients by directing them, assisting them in booking appointments and answering questions. Ward clerks work closely with clinical teams to ensure each patient’s visit to a ward is as simple as possible. They also have regular contact with patients and relatives.

Estates and facilities

Estates and facilities services are provided by Harrogate Integrated Facilities (HIF), a wholly owned subsidiary of Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust

Our estates and facilities teams work hard to ensure our patients and staff operate in a safe and clean environment. The Estates Team maintains the buildings of the Trust, and roles include electricians, mechanics, maintenance fitters and engineers. The Facilities Team is responsible for ensuring high levels of cleanliness are maintained, and for preparing and serving meals to patients, visitors and staff.

Clinical support staff

Our staff members also provide clinical support to our teams, in a range of roles. Examples include phlebotomists, maternity support workers and care support workers. Find out more information about our nursing careers.
