Training and development

Our Learning and Development Team provides a full programme of e-learning, facilitated sessions and face to face training, including coaching and mentoring programmes.

Clinical skills training

Newly qualified clinical staff joining HDFT are enrolled onto a Preceptorship Programme which offers a carefully planned way to further develop clinical skills. Ongoing clinical skills support and training is provided by experienced Practice Educators.

Employee wellbeing

We have a comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme, counselling service and fast-track physiotherapy for all employees.
