What is CiC?
CiC is an independent, free and confidential advice service, for all employees of HDFT and their families. This new and enhanced service has been commissioned to support and improve the wellbeing and psychological health of our people. Whether you’re after practical advice or emotional support with either work or personal issues, CiC can offer expert guidance.
What kind of help do they provide?
CiC provides around the clock support 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Whether you’re after practical advice or emotional support with either work or personal issues, CiC can offer expert guidance on
- Confidential in the moment support – which provides immediate relief and strategies for how to resolve the issue
- Emotional, Psychological and Practical support including structured counselling
- If it is clinically appropriate access to solution focussed brief therapy including CBT (Cognitive behavioural therapy) or EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) can be provided via video, telephone or in person
- Financial advice
- Legal advice
- Physical Health Advice
- Nutritional Guidance
- Resources to support your family
- A dedicated managerial advice helpline

What is Ele?
Ele is a one stop shop for elevating health and wellbeing. It is a free hub with over 6500 lived experience videos, podcasts and roundtable discussions with experts/practitioners. It also has a UK-Wide directory of support organisations resources like PDF, apps etc. Ele’s content has been clinically validated and curated to support employees to improve their wellbeing.
