Paediatric Outpatients Department

Our dedicated Children’s Outpatient Service caters for children from birth to 16 years of age. The Paediatric Outpatients Department is run by a combination of consultants, paediatricians and specialist nurses.

The Paediatric Outpatients Department

The Paediatric Outpatients Department accommodates all specialities involved in the treatment of children, and carry out tests to help with their care.

We cover general paediatrics, allergy, respiratory conditions, diabetes, general surgery, dietetics, pre-assessment, endocrinology, learning disabilities, genetics, and psychology for children with diabetes and constipation. The Department contains six clinic rooms.

Location

The Paediatric Outpatients Department is located on the ground floor of Harrogate District Hospital, in the main Outpatients Department.

Referral

Children are referred to the Department by their GP, healthcare professionals in other departments, from the ward as inpatients, or from the community teams.
